Established in 1973, An Ríocht is a vibrant Athletics Club based in Castleisland County Kerry and is now acknowledged as one of the most famous clubs in Ireland due to the exceptional facilities and service offered by the club to its athletes.
Renowned for the dedication of its officers to provide top class facilities, the club has also produced some international athletes.
The club is proud to be one of just two privately owned athletics tracks in Ireland along with Tullamore Harriers of Offaly.
The club grounds located at Crageens Castleisland boasts an international standard 400 metre tartan athletics track and also a soccer pitch. February 2005 saw the opening of the new clubhouse, which not only provides athletes with dressing rooms and toilets but also incorporates a state of the art gym with spa facilities.
All events - sprints, middle distance, hurdles, javelin, long jump, triple jump, ball throw, shot, hammer, discus and pole vault.
